It’s time to learn about, and have your say on, the upgrades proposed for Morrinsville Road for pedestrians, cyclists and buses and an NZTA proposed new speed limit from beyond the new roundabout to the LIC corner.

NZTA proposal SH26A Morrinsville Road

Urban section From existing 80km/h threshold sign (330m northeast of Morris Road) to the other side of the roundabout to be built (northeast of Silverdale Road) Approximate length: 0.46km Current speed limit: 80km/h Proposed speed limit: 50km/h

Peri-urban section From just past (northeast of) Silverdale Road (new roundabout to be built) towards the Ruakura Road roundabout. Approximate length: 1.96km Current speed limit: 80km/h Proposed speed limit: 70km/h
