Night Road Closures at Tamahere from 12 September for three weeks as work begins under the Tamahere Interchange.

Work to create the new pedestrian/cyclist/mobility scooter accessways at the Tamahere intersection will take place in two stages over six months. There will be night road closures and detours required in September and January and traffic control throughout with the exception of Fieldays week in November. SH1 interchange safety drop in session at Tamahere, 29 July.

Waka Kotahi NZTA BoP Waikato are looking at options to make the SH1 Tamahere Interchange safer for everyone who uses it, especially walkers and cyclists.
