Matangi Garden Club is a thriving group of garden enthusiasts who share garden knowledge, garden tours and enjoy time together. Meetings are held on the first Monday morning of the month unless there is a public holiday in which case it moves to the following Monday.

The club’s annual plant sale is held in the Matangi Hall, Tauwhare Road in October on the Saturday before Labour weekend. The 2026 sale is planned to be held on Saturday 17 October from 9 a.m. – 12.00 noon. All Welcome.

The Plant Sale income supports club activities and a portion is donated to local charities each year.
