Waikato District Council has released a draft Growth & Economic Development Strategy with a drop in session for residents in our area to discuss it with staff scheduled for 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., December 4, at the Matangi Hall on Tauwhare Road.

Titled Waikato 2070, the purpose of the strategy is to guide the growth in the district over the next 50 years. Consultation is taking place now and submissions close on 17 January 2020.
