The two Little libraries in Matangi Village, opposite the Four Square, and made for us by people at Springhill prison, have been a great success. Some books these days are a bit bigger though and Matangi resident, Brian Bowell, has now made us a very special, new, Little Library to sit beside the two we have. Please join us to celebrate the installation on Saturday at 10 a.m.

When the Little libraries were put up many people said they had books to share and we thought it would be nice to combine the opening of the new Little library with a book sharing day. We will have a table out beside the Bus Stop Cafe where you can place any books you no longer want and take any that you would like to take home to read. Novels, biographies and childrens books are always popular. ( no encyclopedias, academic course texts or Readers digest please)

At the end of the morning any books left over will be sorted and kept for restocking the Little Libraries or offered to local op shops.
