The weather was perfect to welcome “St George’s” to our Little Library lineup. There were plenty of generous book donations and delighted readers giving new homes to many. All of the little libraries’ stocks are now replenished and there is a box of books to restock shelves when supplies get low.

Thank you to all who came along to share books and the the morning and those who were, by chance, at the cafe for coffee and ended up with books for themselves or other family members to enjoy. If you couldn’t make it this time perhaps we will see you when we hold it again later in the year.

This Council initiative with Springhill Prison has been a success and with the addition of Brian’s new Little Library it is now a local treasure – special thanks too to Catherine Lang who checks the Little libraries almost daily to keep them looking good. – Enjoy!
