The Jack Foster Reserve Carpark design is now out for tender and work should begin later this year. It will be good to see a structured, all weather and safer school drop off process and a separate, vehicle free recreation space with excellent pedestrian access. Next project will be to agree on some community amenities at the site.

Following the extension to the land area at the Matangi Recreational Reserve a few years ago there have been ongoing discussions and planning for a Concept Plan for the whole site. It is important that the community have their say on what they would like to see enjoyed at this location. The dates for Community consultation meetings will be advised and promoted once they are known.
