The Department of Corrections Springhill Prison has partnered with Waikato District Council to make 30 free little libraries for the rural community across Waikato district.
Betty and Leanne from the WDC are taking the free little libraries concept on a road show, to engage with individual communities on what design (out of 3 designs) they would like, how these should be finished and where these should be located.
They are keen to come to Matangi Community Hall to socialize the idea and offer each of the below communities a free little library.
They have identified the following areas:
* Eureka * Tauwhare * Tamahere * Puketaha * Matangi
