Following Council’s request last year to delay the notification of decisions on the Proposed District Plan the decisions are now public.

Some locations in the Matangi Area have attained zone changes that will be of interest including the Matangi Zone which will pertain to the Matangi Dairy Factory site.

There were a number of submissions seeking subdivision to Village or Country living zone – two are approved – page 39 of the Decision Report 28O Zoning Rest of District :

Decisions are now subject to any appeals, in accordance with clause 14 of Schedule 1 of the RMA, to the Environment Court.
