Rob has represented Matangi since 2010 when boundary adjustments were made to accommodate changing population numbers . Since then Rob has made a point of regularly being in contact with Matangi via the Matangi Community Committee and other community groups, matangilink and Council activities in the area. He is the Chair of the Tamahere and Eureka Wards Heritage group.

Given this decision and that of Aksel Bech it is also now time to think about who might be the 2 representatives for the new Tamahere-Woodlands Ward. Nominations open this month.
