ANZACS continue to be remembered in Matangi in 2023

It is great to see the school students continuing to show their remembrance of those who suffered in wars involving New Zealanders. Prompted and supported by Council the first commemoration was the Poppy net created by the Matangi Garden Club and local knitters and draped on an oak tree in the Jack Foster Reserve in 2017. Now the school is keeping the commemoration alive each year with the Poppy net joining the school student creations at the front of the school in each of the last four years.
