The Matangi Community Committee was formed to liaise with council on the 2005 and 2013 Community plans and as a group is used as a way for Council to contact the community and vice versa.

The Agenda for our meeting on Wednesday will begin with an update from the Mayor on Council amalgamation possibilities, and involve continued discussion of the Concept Plan for the Matangi Recreational Reserve (Sports ground), a marked pedestrian crossing outside the school and a refresh for this website.

Meetings are held 6 times a year at the Matangi Hall or the Matangi School. Councillors Crystal Beavis and/or Mike Keir attend. All residents are welcome to attend and be involved.
