District Plan Review

As below  – your opportunity to provide feedback on the District Plan Review is coming up – Open day in our area is Tamahere – Wednesday 6 December, 2-7pm, Tamahere Hall and Community Centre

Information is available at this link about the work that’s been undertaken as part of the District Plan Review

…”Waikato District Council’s District Plan Review has been three years in the drafting and is coming to its closing stages.  The review integrates the Franklin and Waikato sections into a single district plan with a consistent approach to development and growth for the first time since the district’s boundary changes in 2010.

Every 10 years Council is required to review its District Plan.

It is important that the district’s ratepayers and residents share in the District Plan development and inform Council on their views on any suggested changes.

Therefore, make sure you talk to your councillors, Community Board and Committee members and staff at the upcoming open days so Council can collaborate for a better outcome.
