The Matangi Community Committee, which was set up to liaise with Council, meets quarterly to discuss matters of interest to the community and raise questions with Councillor Rob McGuire who is a regular attendee. Everyone is welcome to attend and join the discussion.

We have been fortunate to have an offer from the Tamahere Lions to discuss a possible project they could undertake for our community. This is one of the items to be discussed at our February meeting. Others include a proposed consultation process to review our village plan, an upgrade to roading to increase traffic calming in the village and a proposed zoning change for the Matangi Factory site.
